Our clients brief was to convert their single fronted cottage into a home they can grow into by improving the functionality & quality and providing additional bedrooms and bathrooms. The existing site is narrow with neighbours in close proximity. The design was a delicate balance between increasing the volume of the current residence and sympathetically treating the boundary building mass so not to impact the quality of space of the neighbouring properties.
